Selyna Alvarez is a Detroit-based DJ, music producer, and singer/songwriter redefining what it means to be an artist in electronic music. A genre-fluid storyteller, she blends UK garage, tech house, experimental bass, and drum & bass with pop-forward blends and magnetic femme energy, all rooted in deep emotionality and unapologetic self-expression.
Born into the Alvarez DJ legacy, Selyna's roots in music run deep, but her path is entirely her own. She has commanded stages alongside artists from labels like Dirtybird and Deadbeats, with sets that move seamlessly from high intensity to down-to-earth intimacy.
Her adaptability shines beyond the club, curating sound for fashion shows, yoga and pilates flows, gym events, and boutique openings, always reading the room and elevating the energy.
Selyna has opened for some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene, bringing her genre-blending sound and magnetic stage presence to stages across the Midwest, solidifying her as a rising force in the next wave of multidimensional DJs and producers.
Selyna was never meant to be just a DJ or a persona. She's a creative extension of me. A world for music, memory, and self-expression.
